    Default Washington Albertsons & Safeway ad 3/4 – 3/10

    Hello –

So, I took a very, very quick look at this week’s ad. I saw a few good deals, but I am already stocked up on a lot of this weeks items. (We have 8 catering events; I am helping with 5, so I didn’t have time to go over it with a fine comb like normal, plus a sleep over )

    So I will pick up:
    Fresh Leaf lettuce .88
    Red/Granny Smith apples .50 pound

I am not really seeing anything else, but there could be deals to be found in the Johnson and Johnson sale. Also, I am not to happy with $5 off $20.

    Safeway does have deals.

I have heard about a frozen food sale that runs all month. There was nothing in my ad today but I am hearing $10 off $25 and the $10 is rolling over. I will try and stop by on Monday.

Safeway also has a buy 5 get $5 off:
    Quaker Life Cereal 5 x .99 = 4.95 – (2) 1.00 MQ = 2.95 (.59 box) good price for Life
(Ad says look for more tags, but Life was the best one in ad)

Safeway Coupons that can be used at Albertsons
    Nutri-Grain Safeway coupon 1.49 x 2 - $1.00 MQ = 1.98 (.99 box)
They have several others at good prices if you need them:

Fred Meyer has ˝ gallon Milk/OJ coupons .99 up to ten. Can use at Albertsons

Milk was 3.68 at the Costco here in Federal Way for 2 gallons. I think I'm passing on the the Albertson's $5 on $20. The frozen boneless skinless chicken is on sale at Albertson's for 1.79/lb which is excellent but Safeway is having it for 1.69/lb Sat/Sun only.

The Black Forest Ham at Albertson's(Q) is cheaper than what you would pay at Costco, otherwise, nothing else really jumped out at me, either. I did the frozen deal at Safeway this last week, and just today used my $10 q for some free pizza. I had thought about rolling it but I didn't see enough stuff I needed to do it so..... I was hoping that Albertsons would do something like that, since March is "frozen food month".

I'm not getting anything this week at Albertsons or Safeway. The milk at FM is good, but I can get it for $3.88/2 gallons at Costco.

This will be a grocery shopping break week other than popping in for what ever fruits and veggies I may need.

Shopping breaks are a good thing. I feel like that is all I've done lately, and frankly nothing has been getting done at my house.

Hopefully you've had the time to go to Walgreens and get the shampoo, and coffee creamer! I was going to do the Huggies deal with the $5, and $3, Q's. Instead I just e-mailed the link and all the info. To the ladies I know that have babies. Hopefully I will be able to use those coupons and get diapers and/or wipes for free before they expire!

Yes, I went to Walgreens on 3/9. I got my Shampoo, toothpaste and lots more. It was by best OOP trip, under $1.00. I gave them my ESC coupons last and it paid for my tax. I never know that until I read it on Sunday.

I went yesterday and bought Febreze air effects. They were on sale for $3 and included in the buy $20/get $5 deal. I used my B1G1 q's so I won't have to buy anymore for the year.

I'm going back this week for the Capri Suns. Baseball season is starting and they work great for the team snacks.

Roots, awesome job! I have got to remember to hand them my coupons in order, instead of in a pile!

Twins- what's the capri deal? Apparently I missed something.
