Woohoo! So what's your strategy going to be? Last time they did this I was in the store every day taking advantage of the double coupons! My Albertsons would take a coupon that was worth more than $1.00, then just give me another dollar off of it. So a $4.00 coupon then becomes worth $5.00. But, for some reason they wouldn't double an internet coupon! I may need to clarify this for this go around. BTW, I was in our local JCPenney, and they were having a huge clearance. In the Christmas section there were platters org. $39.99, down to $5.00, with a $10.00 mail in rebate! WOOHOO! I got paid $5.00 to take it out of the store!

I stopped in this AM. Here's what I got:

3 Coffee Mate creamers
1 Smart balance margarine spread
5 jars of clearanced Beechnut 3rd baby food
2 packs of 100 watt Sylvania lightbulbs
1 Darigold strawberry milk
1 Goldfish crackers

Between clearance, sales, coupons, doubling, my total out-of-pocket (OOP): only $.45! The cashier was quite impressed with my shopping.

The French fried onions are a good item to use doubles on at Albertsons. Normally they are about $3 at W*M. My Albertsons has had them on sale for $2.50 for months. After the double $1.00 coupon they are only $.50. The cans don't expire until 11/2010.

I called the Alberton's here in Hammond, La. the manager said they NEVER double coupons

Went to Albertsons today.

I was so happy to see that we could double 4 coupons. I decided to get several different kinds of granola bars to see which ones the kids liked best. I hate to spend a lot on something they may not like. At about .50 a box I thought it was the perfect time to try some of those new snack items. (I had planned to pick up some Darigold chocolate milk because it would have been free with coupon, but they were out.)

Both of the Albertsons I shop at will not let you double IP coupons with this sale.

My check out lady gave my 4 more “Coupon Double Coupons” so I could stop by and try to get the milk later on this week

Don't buy milk at Alby's this week, go to Fred Meyer. Half-gallons are only $1.00 each, limit 10. All types, including chocolate milk and even orange juice.

don't forget that you can pick up a new ad at their cusomer service desk. You could potentially go back every day if you wanted to shop that much.

Thanks about the Fred Meyer Milk tip. I got milk at Coscto today. It was $3.35 for two gallons. I haven't seen it that low for a long time.

At my Silverdale Albertsons it can sometimes be hard to get extra adds. Its like they hide them. Sometime when I question an items price, they use my add to double check. I am working out toward the Kingston Alberstons this weekend and thought I would stop by there. They seem to be a lot more helpful and Kingston takes all the IP coupons that you want to give them. Silverdale IPs are YMMY.

Kingston won't let you double an IP, but they will let you use them. Haven't tried Poulsbo Albertsons, should be the same, but.....
