"Buy $29 worth, get $15" deal
this is what I got:
(8) cans progresso soup
(5) boxes progresso broth
(4) boxes betty crocker potatoes
(3) Lipton pasta sides
(3) Lipton rice sides
Langers carrot/mango juice blend BOGO
total savings: 51.88
OOP: 24.17
and got $15 ( 3 $5 Q's) to use on a future purchase
I think I am going to go back tomorrow and get another $29 worth, use my Q's and then use the $15 I got today to pay for it
I asked the store manager (he came over and chatted with me about my binder LOL) if there is a limit to how many times I can do this deal, and he said nope. And You can combine as many of the $5 Q's together on a single purchase as you want

Wow, that's great! I live in an area that is saturated with grocery stores. I have never gotten around to checking out Albertsons. I see they have quite a few deals in their flyer this week...I might have to check them out. Do they have a card you have to sign up for?

well.... you don't HAVE to.... but you should LOL
When you sign up for the card they send you Q's in the mail... you can get free salad bags and $2 off some in-store brand cookies or something
you won't get the really good sale prices w/o the card
Where do you live? Where I live there is Albertson's, Ralph's and Vons all on the same street

I'm in Arizona. We have Fry's, Fry's Marketplace, Bashas, Safeway, Albertsons, Fresh and Easy, Trader Joes, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Walmart, Sam's Club, CVS (2), Walgreens (2)...all within 2 miles. Most are only a half mile from my house. It's crazy. Don't get me wrong, I consider myself lucky .
Now that I am couponing, I am realizing I need to expand my horizons rather than just go to the Fry's that is 2 blocks away.

seems like I see a lot of good deals posted here from Fry's.... NayNay is from AZ, so read her posts for the local deals
I also have a CVS and RiteAid on the same street as the grocery stores. No Wags. Have to drive several towns over for that. and I live in the 'burbs of LA... so weird. Nearest TJ to me is probably 10 miles. There is a Henry's a few miles away. I avoid Walmart like the plague. Target is about 5 minutes. Just found a Fresh & Easy about 10 minutes away, but not very convenient to my house, so we'll see. although NayNay says they have good produce...
Don't quote me on this, but I *think* you guys use the Socal region for the Albertsons' deal list on the CM site

Thanks for the heads up on the other Arizonan! I'll double check on the Albertsons list.
That is strange, we have Wags everywhere, but no RiteAid. I agree about Walmart...I shudder just thinking about shopping there. I have NEVER had a good experience. The nearest Target is 3 miles away and don't get to that side of town often. I like Fresh & Easy, but one thing about the produce: if you buy any, it looks so nice in the store and it IS fresh but they seal everything in plastic. I mean everything...tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce...you have to remove or puncture the plastic when you get it home unless you want it to "super ripen" overnight. Because of the plastic, they throw away a lot of produce (an employee told me) or they give it to food banks.

that's ok with me. I'll just buy only what I need for the week and I already have the habit of prepping the produce when I get home, anyway. Ok, you talked me into it! (well, you and NayNay LOL). she might be mad though if I stop sending her F&E Q's... (If that happens, I'll just blame you )

Now that I think of it, they used to have coupons stacked up right on top of the self check-out machines to use on that purchase or the next ones. I wonder if they still do that. By they way, these are the most user-friendly self-checkout machines I have ever seen. At my location, there are even a few where you can scan your items yourself, but still have an employee do the bagging. They just stand at the end of the conveyer belt waiting for your items after you scan them.
I recommend (store brand):
Produce
Breads
Coffee
Stir Fry Sauces
The free samples are great when you go in hungry!
I know, I know, naynay is going to kill me. But I think she's in Mesa and I am in Chandler ...oops shouldn't have said that !
