Default Albertsons NW, .38 turkey deal heads up!

I was out doing the turkey deal today.

The sunday flyer in the paper shows a turkey and in big letters... .38lb!
In small letting below that it says "with your $25 purchase" AND your turkey has to be over 16lbs... less than 16 lbs and it's .48lb. So... in order to get the .38 lb... you have to buy $25 worth of other goods (before coupons) AND your 16lb or larger turkey.

So I got

2 folgers @5.99 less $1 sc and $1 mfc
2 crisco olive oil 2/$10 less 2 $1 mfc
1 swiss miss 10/$10
1 Albertsons sour cream 10/$10
that was just over $25
20lb turkey @ .38
ended up being $27 after coupons
But got $5 cat back.

So many people were at the store customer service area because they had "been over charged" for the turkey. So Heads UP!

The Safeway ad for tomorrow has Safeway turkey's under 16lb 0.37/# and over 16lbs 0.27/#. They also are with $25 purchase limit 1.

Albertson's tomorrow ad has the same price listed for Village Market Frozen Basted Turkey.

LOL If I brought home another turkey, I couldn't put it in the fridge or freezer.

Thats a great deal at Safeway, we don't have one here in Idaho. Joe Albertson ran them out of this area years ago. He was from Idaho.

Anyway my local preview blog thingy shows ours will be .38 lb and 48lb again.

Do you know if your Albies is a supervalu owned one?
