I've heard just about every other excuse at Wags as to why I can't use a particular Q, but that's a new one. A few weeks ago I got the Maxwell House coffee deal and used a $2/2 Q. The register counted it as one Q and 2 items, so the 2nd coffee was really a filler for using a RR to pay with.
We could start a book with all the many reasons why we've been told our Qs won't work. On my Saturday run, I was told that can't use a Q for greater value than the product. Same Wags but different cashier on any other day will scan Q and system will give overage. This time they adjusted my Q down to the price of the product. Was also told that I have to buy the item in the picture. I was buying the Reach floss and using the IP with the pic of the Listerine. She was less than pleased when I showed her the fine print that it was also valid on Reach floss. Then I got the Scotch Paper Cutters for free because they were clearanced for 75 cents and I had $1 Qs. I think she wasn't happy to start with because the first item she rang up was the $9.99 curling item on super sale for $4.99, and then I had the $3 Wags Q to stack with it. She checked and double checked and triple checked that deal.
