I have also had problems with using internet coupons at Walmart. I usually try to separate everything according to my coupons to make it easier for the cashier. Well I still had to ask for a manager when the cashier got confused and then tried to tell me I couldn't use some of my coupons. I stood my ground and the manager himself ended up ringing up my items and scanning my coupons. He informed me that as long as the coupons scanned on their registers, they would accept them. Only one of my coupons did not scan so I took it back and went back to the store the next day. That particular manager was not there when I went back and I was told by another employee that they do not accept internet coupons. I was infuriated by that time because the store employees obviously need to get their act together and be on the same page when it comes to these internet coupons. I told the woman that the manager from the previous day said that my coupons were acceptable as long as they scanned. The end result was that my coupons scanned fine, even the one that didn't work the previous day and I saved 50% of my total bill. I did leave the store with a small headache but it was worth the hassle.

I have not tried to use coupons in the self check. Could someone explain to me how that works? Do you have to have a store employee present while you scan your items? Where do you put the coupons after you scan them?
