Mmm, I love frozen snack cakes, and I will have to try freezing the Hostess donuts.

One caution about freezing candy bars...I used to work as a dental assistant and we would occasionally get patients who had a crown come off from eating frozen candy or frozen candy bars. This tended to happen a few weeks after Halloween, but it could happen anytime. So if you have crowns or fillings or anything that MIGHT cause a problem, let the candy thaw just a bit first.

Oh, and that reminds me of something that is useless but possibly interesting trivia ~ we used to remove crowns in the dental office by using Jolly Ranchers, which were very similar to the crown removers sold in dental catalogs, but much cheaper. Mind you, we had to soften the Jolly Rancher in a cup of water in the microwave for a few seconds first. Disclaimer: I am NOT trying to imply that Jolly Ranchers will inadvertantly remove crowns. We did have to use some technique to make it happen.
