OK, so not quite a recipe. But I bought some of the Hostess donettes with a Q. Got them at a really good price, so thought I'd try freezing some of the chocolate ones to see how they would fare. Wasn't sure if the chocolate coating would survive a freeze/thaw cycle.
Took them out a day later, was going to let them thaw. Then on a whim, decided to try eating one frozen. Yum! Nice, cool treat, especially on a hot summer day.
Never bothered to thaw them, just popped the rest back in the freezer until next snack time.
