Chicken Leg Quarters
With a tight budget and chicken leg quarters on sale for .29 a lb, I couldn't resist buying 20 lbs for under $6. Other than bbqing the, every recipe I've tried has resulted in some greasy, disgusting dish. I'm open to removing the skin and cooking in a sauce in the crocpot, or separating the leg & thigh and attempting to debone the thigh. Please help me come up with a dish(es) that will put this bargain protien to good use. Thanks!
