Many of you may know that Wal-Mart is considered a discount store, and like to offer every day low prices, as well as rollback items. However...did you know that it is possible to save even
more by using the CouponMom system? Here are my best tips:
1. Wal-Mart will price match competing ads. It is your responsibility to take the ad with you. The product(s) that Wal-Mart sells
must be the exact same size/quanitity advertised within the ad, in order for Wal-Mart to honor it.
2. The ads must be for a
valid date. Your Wal-Mart cashiers
will check for this....I promise...so make sure that it is for a valid (dated ad)
3. You can also create your online shopping lists...Print it and take it to the store. Again....there must be a valid sale date on your online ad in order for Wal-Mart to honor it. In the area, that I am in....Wal-Mart will honor online ads within a 50 mile radius only.
4. "Can I use coupons on top of Wal-Mart's Price Match?" My experience has been....yes....you most certainly may!!
5. Did you know that Wal-Mart will also price match on Produce and Meat?
It is true. When it comes to meat....Take your ad to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart doesn't require the exact same manufacturer on the meat....However, they will require the exact same
cut of meat.
For an example: If Ingles is selling Sanderson Farms split chicken breasts @ .88/lb. For practical reasons, and since Wal-Mart is closer to me....I can take the ad to Wal-Mart and buy Tyson split chicken breasts....use my ad, and get the .88/lb price that Ingles advertised.
6. Wal-Mart will not honor BOGO ads.
Overall....by using the strategic shopping prinicples taught by the CouponMom system....and by knowing Wal-mart's price match policy....this is a huge time saver, and practically eliminates the need to go to mulitple stores during the week.
Saving tons of time and money on gas?
Priceless.
HTH someone.
